JILL ZETTERWALL
Chief Services Officer
Jill Zetterwall has been a licensed cosmetologist for over 23 years. Her career with Simonson's began in 1984. She became a very successful stylist specializing in color. In 1993 Jill was promoted to Stylist Director of the Anoka location. Her tenure with the company made this a very smooth and easy transition for her role as a leader. She continued performing hair services for her clients as well as managing the service technicians. Jill's other responsibilities included ordering, setting up internal classes with the help of her vendors, interviewing, hiring and training of new stylists.
In 1995 Simonson's opened a new store in Maple Grove. Jill then began managing both locations with the help of two Assistant Stylist Directors while continuing her career as a stylist behind the chair.
In 2001 Simonson's opened a third location in Elk River. At that time, Simonson's decided to have Service Managers at all three locations. Jill took over the role of Senior Service Manager. She was the immediate supervisor of the Service Managers. She continued performing services on guests, however, with her added responsibilities her floor time was limited.
In 2002, a fourth location opened in Plymouth. Jill continued her role as the Senior Service Manager with a name change to Chief Services Officer. She remained the immediate supervisor of the Service Managers at all locations.
In 2005, Jill assumed much of the human resource responsibilities for Simonson's as she was really a perfect fit considering she's been with company over 20 years. She finds the opportunity to grow and advance with the company irresistible. In addition to responding to the company's ever changing needs, she also holds a current cosmetology license.
