BAILEY MCKELLIP | Plymouth 3S Manager

The beauty industry has played a major role in Bailey’s life growing up. Watching her mother’s successful career in the beauty industry take off inspired Bailey to jump into it a young age. Bailey continued her career at Spalon Montage as an Operations Manager after receiving a bachelor’s degree at Crown College in Saint Bonifacius, Minnesota. After nine successful years there, she explored a new career in the health care industry which included working at Park Dental and Allina Health. Two years in the health care sector lead her to the realization that her true passion lays within the beauty industry.

Accepting a position as the 3S Manager at Simonson’s felt like “coming home”. She believes that if you are passionate about what you do then work won’t feel like a job, but a gratifying journey. Witnessing the transformation a guest experiences when their confidence and inner beauty soars because of their enhanced ‘outer beauty’ is the single biggest reason Bailey finds this profession so fulfilling. Bailey contributes her success to having exceptional role models and leaders throughout her life who continue to inspire her today.

As life goes moves forward, Bailey feels that it isn’t so much about the places you go, but rather the people you share it with. When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her significant other as well as her close friends. You can find her up-north relaxing or spending time out on the lake … whether it’s open or frozen. You can also catch at home curled up with a good book, a new craft, or chasing her two pugs Rockie and Opie around.


KARLI BRINK | Maple Grove 3S Manager

“Play with it until you make it better"

Karli's passion for the beauty industry never ceases. With more than a decade of accomplishments, Karli's artistic and business expertise range from floral design, master stylist, freelance artist and independent contractor, Aveda Institute Educator/Color Coach, facilitation and collaboration of runway shows, and spa director. These milestones fashioned Karli into the resilient, innovative and efficacious professional she is today.

Karli possesses a forward thinking mindset where obstacles fuel her energy reservoir. Her result-orientated attitude is well-balanced with her exuberant, creative nature. “Play with it until you make it better" is her mantra. If you don't try something, you never know how amazing it could have been. If you fear curiosity, you may deprive yourself of discovering some amazing opportunities.

When she is not working, Karli enjoys cooking for friends/family. She also has a gift for painting and pottery, which keeps her artistic spirit inspired. Additionally, you can often find her exploring the outdoors and traveling with her boyfriend and dog.


MIRANDA BROWN | Coon Rapids 3S Manager

“To be successful, the first thing to do is fall in love with your work.”

Miranda’s love for the beauty industry has been her inspiration for the past 15 plus years. It all began at the Aveda Institute of Minneapolis where she graduated with honors from the Esthetics program. Recognizing her passion to further develop her salon and spa career, she moved to Florida where she attended makeup school and started her own business. During her 10 years in Florida, she also went back to school to obtain her cosmetology license thereby expanding her business to include hair, nails and spray tanning services. Miranda’s enthusiasm for her profession spawned the desire to share her knowledge with others which lead her to become an Educator for Intaglio Cosmeceuticals, Skin Deep Pharmaceuticals and Amber Wax.

Upon moving back to Minnesota, Miranda joined the Simonson’s team in 2013 as a guest services representative and an Aesthetician. In 2014, she was promoted to 3S Manager in Coon Rapids. Miranda’s abundant experience in every aspect of the salon and spa profession makes her an exceptionally valuable asset to our guests, our team and company as a whole.

When Miranda’s not working, she enjoys spending time outdoors in Minnesota’s beautiful weather, visiting her parent’s lake home up near Alexandria or finding her own adventures in a good book.


ANNIE MANN | Skills Coach

Annie Mann was born and raised in Grand Forks, North Dakota. As long as she can remember, she has had an attraction to all things hair, beauty and fashion related. Annie attended Josef's School of Hair Design immediately following her high school graduation. She joined the Plymouth Simonson’s Salon and Spa team in November of 2010. Immersed in her role as a stylist, Annie’s technical aptitude combined with her dedication to provide world-class customer service quickly made her a top-performer.

Annie is a firm believer in "The more you learn, the more you grow." She is a sponge for knowledge and regular participant in any advanced education opportunity that will grow her innate knack for styling. From San Diego to Boston, traveling is no obstacle for Annie when it comes to education; she’s been coast to coast for multiple education seminars. Annie’s greatest reward is sharing her expertise and helping others reach their full potential. In her role as an Educator, she utilizes her proficiency in cutting and coloring to mentor and develop others to be their best.


LINDA ROLEK | Skills Coach

Linda Rolek, a graduate of St. Cloud Beauty College is a high performer with substantial experience and tenure in the beauty industry. Linda started her career at Barbara Baker Hair Design in Anoka before joining Simonson’s Salon & Spa in 1994. During her tenure with Simonson’s, she has proven to be a role model and leader in ambassadorship, sales and customer retention. Her dedication and ability to create an exemplary experience for each guest is what keeps them coming back to her year after year.

Linda has been influenced by some of the industry's greatest leaders and equally finds inspiration from her colleagues in Coon Rapids. The goal of the Skills Coach is to collectively provide support and development to all team members by supporting efforts to meet and exceed personal development goals and team success. This role appeals to Linda’s desire to invest in, develop and teach team members how to evolve as a successful 3S ambassador.


LISA BETTCHER | Skills Coach

A graduate of Scot Lewis in 1990, Lisa worked at Regis Corporation for over seven years as a stylist. Wanting to be part of a full service salon and spa, Lisa joined the Simonson’s Salon & Spa team in 1998. During Lisa’s tenure with the company, she has proven to be a team leader and role model. She has managed, coached and had a profound influence on her fellow colleagues. Throughout her career, Lisa has been inspired by some of the beauty profession’s brightest superstars in her quest to become a superstar in her own right. She possesses a colossal treasure trove of competences which include haircutting and styling, hair coloring, hair extensions, professional products and customer service.

The role of the Skills Coach & Educator is to teach team members how the evolution from being a 3S (Simonson’s Salon & Spa) Ambassador translates into world class customer service translates into customers for life. Lisa’s powerful program contents enumerates the need to not just meet, but exceed every guest’s expectations.
