Chris joined Simonson’s in September of 2021 as a GSR after being a loyal client for some years. Over the past year, he has worked at all three locations only to discover just how he much he loves working with his fellow GSR’s, the service technicians, the leadership team and the salon and spa guests. Subsequently, he decided to further his career path with Simonson’s and pursue a leadership position.
In July 2022, he was promoted to 3S Manager of the Plymouth location with the goal of bringing his customer service and management skills to enhance the guest and team’s experience at Simonson’s.
Chris spent his formative years in New York City and San Francisco obtaining a degree in Political Science and Art History. After a few years deciding his future whilst enjoying life in both cities, a friend asked “What do you really want to do with your life?’
His answer, ”Hmm, see the world”.
And thus, he started a longstanding travel career. He has worked in various fields that include: operations, business development, training, management, sales, marketing and public relations with the Virgin Group, Marriott International and Singapore Airlines. He has worked – and in some cases lived – in Los Angeles, Boston, London, Singapore, Lagos, Nairobi, Cape Town, Dubai and Johannesburg. South Africa remains his favorite place to visit, along with Paris and Shanghai.
