Q: I don’t like how my hair naturally falls. Is there a way I can change the way my hair lays?

A: Unfortunately, you can’t fix a cowlick. But if you’re up for it, you can test of some of these tricks:

1. Sleep with a bobby pin in your hair so that it holds it in the direction you want your hair to fall to. When you wake up, your hair should be perfectly placed.

2. Try using a root booster to gain some control when blow drying. KEVIN.MURPHY Body.Builder, AG Bigg Wigg, or UNITE Expanda may help to direct this troubled spot.

3. Get a haircut that will push the hair in the same direction as your natural hair growth patterns. Have a consultation with your stylist before your haircut so that you can share your goals and come up with a plan for cutting your tresses.

4. Try using UNITE’s Blow & Set lotion before styling your hair. After applying the product, use a round brush or your fingers to help blow dry your hair in the direction you want it to fall.
